We all look forward to happiness, crave for it, pray for it to come sooner than later. Do we get that? Nah not really, but we keep trying, always keep trying and never stop.
The one who gets happiness is content with life and satisfied but there’s always a struggle for the one who doesn’t. Some find it in materialistic things, some find in setting themselves free, some dream it in some form or the other and some find it in others’ happiness.
What is happiness? Can it change someone’s life, his purpose of living or give him the meaning of life? Is happiness the reason for everyone’s survival?
Happiness for an unemployed person would be in finding a good job. Happiness for an entrepreneur would be in running a successful business. Happiness for a married person would be in running happy family life, or without any limitations/compromises, happiness for a passionate person would be in fulfilling his every need and so on.
Someone said life is not easy, I say you can still live your life but living a happy life is extremely difficult.
Does our happiness depend on others? Why we even look for happiness which is dependant on others?
We seek for happiness in others who we love when it is not materialistic or any goal-oriented. Finding our happiness in others are inspired by love, care, support, empathy and when you get the reciprocation from the other end — You feel elated and content with inner peace. Life looks so beautiful. Whereas on the contrary, it never seemed easy if your efforts (love, care, support, empathy) are being considered just a routine affair and nothing special. Your love is not reaching the other person as it should have been, or you are not able to express in the manner the person wants.
There is one happiness in this life, to love and be loved. — George Sand
We love everything that we are passionate about. We love dogs, kids, food, trees, stones, hills, rivers, etc, but we also crave to be loved by all who we love and that is the idea of our happiness. Love is common amongst all, whereas to be loved — you just need a simple heartfelt reciprocation. Happiness is just an inch away from you if you realize how important is to GIVE to others than to GET.
Start reciprocating. Show how much you care, love, support, feel sorry for your mistakes, ready to do anything or can go at any length to bring smiles back. And then leave it to the person to reciprocate the same. If you get the same in return then HAPPINESS will chase you wherever you go. On the other hand, keep spreading the good love as you will someday definitely get the real meaning of HAPPINESS, which is more beautiful when you GIVE than to GET.
Let’s keep spreading HAPPINESS.
